Mr. Selfish and I enjoy wandering around the 6th Arrondissement, particularly the lovely Luxembourg Gardens. The park is in the garden of the Senate, which is actually located in the Luxembourg Palace. We found a day when it wasn’t raining and headed over to the gardens.
As we were walking around the gardens, the weather started to improve quite a bit.
Nearby the Luxembourg Gardens is the Zadkine Museum, which displays a sculpture collection. It is a little museum with very interesting sculptures. If you have free time, I would recommend it. Otherwise, stay in the Luxembourg Gardens instead.
Around on the other side of Luxembourg Gardens is Église St.-Sulpice. The sunlight was lovely on the church. Although it isn’t one of the most impressive churches we’ve seen in Paris, the lighting was superb.
Don’t forget to check out my recommendations for the other arrondissements in Paris here.
