The Selfish Guide to Zurich
Mr. Selfish and I spent two nights in Zurich, which was just about the right amount of time for us. Switzerland was just so expensive, and the people weren’t that nice either.
Nevertheless, if you are passing through Zurich, here’s our Google map:
[Disclaimer: This was our personal Google map for Zurich. It is possible that not all of the pins are accurate since we did not visit all of them.]
The thing that I enjoyed the most in Zurich was the boat cruise on Lake Zurich. It was $9 per person and lasted an hour and a half. This was the most value for money we got in Zurich.
Mr. Selfish and I also visited the three churches in Zurich’s city center. I enjoyed Grossmunster the most since you could climb one of its towers and see a great view of the city.
Finally, we ate the quintessential Swedish food in Zurich – fondue and chocolate. Unfortunately, I found the food to be a bit overpriced, and I’ve certainly had better fondue and chocolate elsewhere.
